Council for Relationships' five scholarship programs are 100% funded by gifts from the staff, alumni, funds from CFR and organizations which support our mission. The scholarship funds are: the Martin Goldberg Education Fund, Alumni Scholarship, Minority Scholarship, the Melinda Clothier Biddle Memorial Scholarship Fund, and the Marla Kaufman Fund. It is our goal to help as many interns as possible with our limited resources. The policy for scholarships is as follows:

  • All scholarships are partial and awarded for a period of one year (for both full and part-time students), based on availability, need and perceived clinical potential.
  • Applicants must submit an application form, with all supporting financial documentation, no later than June 30th for the academic year beginning the following September. New students should apply at the time of their application to the program.
  • Decisions regarding scholarships will be made by the Director and Chief Executive Officer, Director of Training, and the Director of Training for Clergy.

Scholarship application forms may be obtained from Shirley Jacoby, Training Program Administrator.
