Through its partnership with the Council for Relationships, Thomas Jefferson University offers a strong advantage.
Students in the CFR/Thomas Jefferson University program:
- are taught and supervised by CFR faculty members - all highly experienced family and couple therapists and teachers
- have the benefit of practicum placements at multiple CFR locations
and sites throughout the Thomas Jefferson University Health System;
- participate in ongoing clinical research in couple and family
therapy;
- participate in multidisciplinary collaboration in the clinical
care of cases, preparing them for real world clinical practice;
- receive live and videotaped supervision, to maximize the development
of therapeutic skills;
- have access to the largest number of American Association of Marital and Family Therapy (AAMFT) Approved Supervisors in the tri-state area.
