Sherry Tucker, MSS

Sherry Tucker is a senior staff therapist with over 20 years experience working
with individuals, couples, families and groups. She sees clients in the Center
City office.
Sherry feels passionate about helping people who feel stuck and unable to achieve their potential in their love and work lives. She helps people find the courage to move from being blocked and in pain to living full, engaged lives. Helping people develop themselves, their relationships, and their lives to the fullest is the heart of her work.
Sherry works with people who are going through difficult times in their lives; painful relationship issues that may include infidelity and sexuality problems; parents struggling with communication and boundary setting issues; young adults trying to develop their careers and relationships; dealing with grief and loss; suffering with anxiety and depression; struggling with addictions - alcohol, work, drugs, gambling; coping with eating disorders.
Sherry first trained in clinical social work at Bryn Mawr College Graduate School of Social Work and is a licensed clinical social worker. Sherry then trained in couples, family and sex therapy at Council for Relationships (formerly Marriage Council of Philadelphia) and is certified as a marriage, family and sex therapist by the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists, where she is a clinical member. In addition, Sherry has completed advanced training in Group Psychotherapy through the American Group Psychotherapy Association.
