Ray Fisher, LCSW

Ray Fisher, LCSW, works with boys, adolescents, and adult males
to help them navigate and overcome the difficult challenges they
experience in their lives. He specializes in anger, trauma, depression,
anxiety, parenting, communication, grief/loss, intimacy, intercultural/interracial
relationships, LGBT, and infidelity.
Ray is skilled in working with adolescent and adult males in helping them to broaden their understanding of their emotions. He understands their struggle to find spaces where they can fully express themselves, and provides a safe and helpful place in which to feel, understand, and grow.
Ray believes that life is about relationships. Relationships with friends, loved ones, co-workers, and ourselves. He uses the therapeutic relationship to help teach his clients ways to function in those relationships that will bring greater acceptance, joy, peace, love, and success. Ray is committed to working with children, teens, and adults, as well as their families, as they learn strategies for functioning at their highest level.
With over 10 years of clinical experience, Ray’s therapy style is real, connected, and focused on helping clients reach their goals. He holds a Master’s degree from Smith College School for Social Work, and is a member of the National Association of Social Workers and the Pennsylvania Society for Clinical Social Workers. Ray was recently appointed to a position on the National Association of Social Workers Mental Health Specialty Practice Section Committee out of Washington DC.
