Inge Damstra, MD

Dr. Inge Damstra is board certified in both Adult Psychiatry and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, and she sees child, adolescent and adult patients. Dr. Damstra's practice encompasses general psychiatry. Much of her practice focus is on anxiety and mood disorders in both children and adults, and ADHD and developmental disorders in children. Dr. Damstra offers psychiatric evaluation of children and adults, as well as psychotherapy and management of psychiatric medications.

Dr. Damstra believes in getting to know her patients well, even if she is seeing them for medication management. She enjoys working collaboratively with her patients, and if appropriate with their parents or other family members as well.

Dr. Damstra earned her undergraduate degree from Johns Hopkins University and her medical degree at The George Washington University School of Medicine. She completed a pediatric internship and adult psychiatry residency at Mt. Sinai Hospital in New York City, and a fellowship in child psychiatry at Columbia University.

Dr. Damstra is a member of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and the American Medical Association.
