Scott BlackerDirector of DevelopmentUniversity City Office 215-382-6680 ext. 3129 SBlacker@CouncilforRelationships.org Scott enthusiastically joined Council for Relationships in 2010 after working 15 years in management positions in government, marketing and development for non-profit fundraising organizations, recently serving as Director of External Affairs with the prestigious LEAD Program where Scott managed corporate relationships with top 100 companies like Google, Goldman Sachs, and Johnson & Johnson. He worked to raise millions of dollars in new funding for summer business and engineering institutes at Penn, Stanford and other LEAD related colleges. Scott's held senior fundraising roles for gubernatorial, mayoral and supreme court candidates and national non-profit organizations including the Jewish National Fund, being named JNF Campaign Executive of the Year 2005 for the U.S. Scott graduated with a business degree from Bloomsburg University of PA, where he served as student government president. He did graduate work in public administration at Temple University. He is partner in the web design firm Blacker Communications in Bucks County, PA where he resides with his wife and two children. |
